  1. Hi Dan, I'm good thanks :), hope you are too

This is for our IT Director to be able to log into the Live app and look around

I'd already given the Basic User Role but hadn't give the Collaboration Role

Ideally I'd like them to have view access only as at the moment they could update calls, reassign etc although they might disagree

  2. Hi @NeilWJ the first one

We have SSO configured so the Admin portal will log on as myself

The link I've got so far will take me straight to the slideshow setup but I'd like to be able to launch a shortcut that will go straight into the slideshow without clicking the play button, I want to launch the slideshow directly

That way I can put it in the startup folder of the machine to launch automatically on startup

  3. Hi,

I'm trying to set up some access for our Group IT Manager to Service Manager

I don't want to give access to edit anything, just to be able to view the calls in peoples queues

I've got it so that the calls are visible but when click on one it gives an error about access to h_sys_tasks

I've assigned him to an Organisation as a Manager as given access to Allow Viewing Tasks

    thanks,

    Pete

  4. Hi,

Is it possible to get a slideshow to auto play?

I've set up a slideshow to run on a machine in our office and I'd like to be able to double click on a link and for the slideshow to automatically play

    thanks,

    Pete

  5. Is there any chance of making it so that you can enforce the number of levels on the closure profiles?

We've got a couple of users that only select the top level which doesn't give us enough information as to the particular issue

Our top level code might be Admin and the levels below are things like unlock account, create new user etc

I'm having to keep reminding them that they need to do a few extra clicks

  6. Thanks @James Ainsworth that's great

I've tweaked it slightly for what I want but that gave me a great start, much appreciated :)

I'll see if I can do something similar with h_itsm_rel_requests for the linked calls, the problem might be which way round the calls were linked as to which is the problem and which is the child call

  7. Hi,

Where can I find out the number of users that have clicked the 'Me Too' button on the portal and the number of linked calls for a problem?

I'd like to be able to report on it for our monthly reports and also display in a list of open problems in a dashboard

    Thanks,

    Pete

  8. I have the same issue with the notifications saying that I don't have permission

I'd love the app to have more of the ability for call logging etc, it would be good to be able to have the full functionality when away from my desk

  9. This is what I get if I navigate to the page in developer mode

    • I can't expand the details section of a request
    • Opening/closing does cause an extra line or so to appear along with the button to edit the details section. Clicking that button doesn't do anything
    • Opening/closing the details section didn't generate any errors in the developer tools but there were some when I opened the request

I've attached a screenshot of what we see and also the errors on loading the call

  10. Is it possible to set up a custom security group to give users access to be able to change the status of a service without being able to modify the setup of the service or add/delete services?

As part of our major incident process we want our analysts to be able to change the service status to make it visible on the portal but we don't want them to be able to modify any of the setup of the services, response times or resolution times

    thanks,

    Pete

  11. I saw that in another post and that will certainly help with some things

We recently had a manager request info on all outstanding call for their department

Sometimes it would be useful to be able to add colleagues on an ad-hoc basis

Sometimes we have issues that may affect our sales and warehouse team and we end up with emails flying backwards and forwards and they often don't have the reference number in them

In those instances it would be useful to give the affected parties access to the call in the portal so they could view and update from there
