  2. scratch that @ChazI have found a potential issue when connecting to mdh-p01-api.hornbill.com sometimes it seems to not work but most of the time it does, I am going to see if I can get this address allowed in our proxy/firewall and go from there. Any ideas on the X's situation though? Thanks, Logan

  4. Hi All, Was unsure where I should post this so hopefully this is the correct location. I am wanting to update our LDAP tool as we currently use a very old version where it does not use the inbuilt LDAP data import (think its like 2.0 or something). I was just wondering even though I will be using the -dryrun=true command and it should only be changing one affected user, I just want peace of mind so if all does go to pop i can restore back, would I need to request a backup to be taken before I did any changes or do you guys just work on a schedule with your backups? If so, what time would be best for me to attempt the changes? Thanks, Logan

  6. Hi All, Forgive me if it is a really obvious thing that I am just missing but I am trying to locate a way to delete a timeline update. It would be handy to do this as sometimes a update is wrongly put into a ticket or the update is just not needed. Thanks in advance, Logan

  13. @Chaz I had it today but I can't remember what time it was but my colleague Dom had it between 9:30 - 11 today a few times loading tickets/asset register. Hopefully this helps if not I can get my guys to let me know when they next have the loading issue. Dom also had the attachments thing but can't remember which job/time but I have said that if he gets it again today to let me know. Thanks,
  14. Hi @Chaz thanks for the speedy response, google chrome is what we tend to use. It will just hang with the Hornbill logo spinning at the top of the screen and never actually resolve to show your list of tickets. I have tried just waiting it out before and gave up after about 5 minutes and just refreshed the page again and this seems to always make it work. Thanks,

Hi All, Hoping you can help me, for a number of months we seem to have been experiencing issues where Hornbill service manager will just get stuck refreshing, it doesn't seem to happen all the time and is usually resolved by just hitting refresh in the web browser. I have also noticed when when you open some requested and go to send an email we seem to be getting some weird boxes under the "enter message to recipient box"(attached image). The hanging seems to have been getting worse since around September. I have some some internal checks to see if there are any oddities with us maxing our internet usage out etc but that seems all okay since we can access other sites. Unsure how easy it would be to identify the issue as it is really random I was just wanting to check to see if anyone else is experiencing this. Thanks in advance, Logan

  17. Hi Guys, Hoping you can advise, I have created a rule where an external company will email in with a report attached and this auto creates a job. This works and the job is created however, the attachment which in this case is a excel file does not seem to pull through. I tested with a test auto to my team and this also did not pull through the test txt attachment that I made but did create the job, I have also manually created a job with an attachment using the same process and this pulls through everything. I am wanting to know is there something I need to enable to make this work? or is this not a feature? Thanks, Logan

  19. Hi Guys, Hoping you can help me, I am wanting to know if there is a way to create my own variable to import into a Global email template. By global template I mean I currently use 1 email template for all the different teams that use Hornbill in my business at the moment which works, however, there is 1 team that ends up taking most of the phone calls because it is their number at the bottom of the template. I am wanting if possible to create my own phone number variable where if a certain team emails using the template it will put their number at the bottom of the email. I would rather do this than have to what looks like creating templates for all the teams and then edit the BPM's to match. This is just the 1 thing I have but being able to create my own custom variables will help me out in the long run if I want to edit the template further. Hopefully this makes sense let me know if not. Thanks, Logan

Hi @Steven Boardman Thought I'd tag into this as well, I have changed the new settings to give my analysts the option to have the template on or off but I am wanting to know if there is a way to globally set it to off and then give the option to turn it on for the analyst, I am still finding that the analysts are having to go into each job and turn it off and I have also found that Caching in Chrome seems to be a factor(Not really your guys issue just thought Id mention it). It seems to be set to default to keep the template showing can we have the option change this to be the other way round? Thanks, Logan G
  23. Yeah mine is the exact same @Chris Thompson Even tried just renaming one of the nodes and I cannot save it.
