Sandip Bhogal Posted January 16, 2024 Posted January 16, 2024 Hi, I'm developing a form which will be a user form filled by a line manager, is there a way to have option on the form for them to attach a document? Could be something like Word/PDF, if so how can this be done? Do you also have a sample i can use just to see how it works when going through workflow/intelligent capture. So whoever is going to deal with this request can then see the attachment also from the back end?
Steve Giller Posted January 16, 2024 Posted January 16, 2024 The Intelligent Capture offers both an Attachments Form that you can use, and the File Upload field type for Custom Forms.
Sandip Bhogal Posted January 17, 2024 Author Posted January 17, 2024 Hi Steve, Thanks for getting back on this, as you can see the current form i got inplace, what option is it for me to add attachment, so the end user can upload document. When the ticket gets created whoever deals with the ticket can see the attachment also?
Sam P Posted January 19, 2024 Posted January 19, 2024 @Sandip Bhogal There's two ways of doing it... 1) In your capture flow you can add a new Form node, and populate it like this (this will appear on a separate page when your capture is published): 2) Add a File Upload field in an existing node that will follow the questions you already have:
Steve Giller Posted January 19, 2024 Posted January 19, 2024 On the first option, if this is always going to be a document I would recommend setting "Hide Paste Input Field" to "Yes" as that is designed for images.
