Martyn Houghton
Employee Portal does not honour Dark Mode setting but does for High Contrast. Cheers Martyn
Daniel Dekel
Hello @Martyn Houghton, This is by design. The employee portal is defined by the customer (you) so the colours need to be maintained no matter if is Light or Dark skin. In High Contrast is different. For accessibility reasons none of the customisations related to colours are used, this is to maintain the support for people with difficulties to see colours. Hope this makes sense. Regards, Daniel. Martyn Houghton
@Daniel Dekel Given High Contrast applies, can the customisation for the Employee portal be extended to have a Dark Mode set of colours in parallel to current settings to use? Daniel Dekel
@Martyn Houghton what you mean is that like High Contrast, ignore your customisations in Dark Mode based on some customisation flag?
Martyn Houghton
@Daniel Dekel Have two parallel sets of customisation values, the current original ones and a second set for Dark Mode. That way you can choose to support a dark mode with alternate corporate customisation. Cheers Martyn
Daniel Dekel
@Martyn Houghton, OK. I understand now. That can take some time to implement. Is not as easy as it sounds. Will add it to our list but can't commit on a time. Cheers, Daniel
Martyn Houghton
@Daniel Dekel At the moment it seems to be some elements do pick up the dark mode and other do not, so some elements of the employee portal are very hard to read.
