Has something changed with the search in hornbill? It doesn't like the hyphens in our servers/ devices now, but I'm sure it used to bring back results.

For example -

It does make it more difficult to bring back specific results.

I'm getting reports of staff not able to find reference numbers that they say they could previously (using the global search)

Just to add, it seems to work if I put a space around the hyphen, but the device names don't have the space so doesn't really help our searching.

Thanks everyone for posting.  Our development team have done some investigation and they believe that they may have found out why this is happening.  They are continuing to work on this and I'll let you know if there is any update.

HI @StephC

Our development team have made a change that will correct the issue you are having with the dashes in the search.  This will be made available as part of our standard updates to the platform.  You should this in the release notes over the next couple of weeks.
