Set purging of folders per mailbox/folder?

Hi.

Update 3515 allows us to add a purge setting for the Sent Items folder in our mailboxes, which is great.

Would it be possible to have this as a setting PER MAILBOX, and maybe even have the option of purging custom folders too please?

We have multiple mailboxes, for multiple teams, and some of these teams will need to keep all emails for a longer period of time than others. To be really effective, it makes sense to me to have the purge settings reflect what is required on each mailbox (each team) so that we're only holding the minimum amount of emails required.

Also, each of our mailboxes has multiple different custom folders, and having the ability to purge these based on individual retention dates would be useful too.

+1 for us, we run multiple service desks through one instance, so having a more focused setting would be very useful.

+1 for us as well please. We'd also like to specify which mailbox and have the ability to purge emails from different folders.

Making this more granular would require quite a big change, not impossible at all, but in essence, we would need to introduce settings per mailbox, and then extend the folders to include settings per folder, which then would render the recently added global settings obsolete. We will have a look at what is involved, but its not something we can do quickly as there are various moving parts (mail service, admin tool and database changes all involved here).  The basic requirement does make sense though...
