Guest Paul Alexander
How will we know when our instance has been restarted? Do we just need to keep trying to log in/out ??
Victor
@Paul Alexander when you instance is restarted all users will be logged off automatically meaning the instance is now restarting. After 5 min they can log back in.
Guest Paul Alexander
Thanks @Victor We're back up and running again....it's just that, not knowing WHEN it was going to go down meant that some people will have lost some work I expect (we didn't want to stop everyone at 10.45 for a possible wait of 40 minutes!) All done though...thanks.
Victor
@Paul Alexander apologies, unfortunately due to the urgency we were unable to provide individual times for each instance. I can only hope this did not cause too much trouble.
John C
Is there no way of notifying people via an email or something so we could update our customers re an outage etc? i only came across this after our own instance going down and then logged in here, kind of defeats the whole purpose no!? John C
Thanks guys, learn something new everyday eh... @Victor can I ask if these recent outages/bugs are an issue with the newer Employee Portal as well as the current Service Portal?
Victor
Browsers still caching. Try give it a hard refresh with CTRL + F5 and/or clear browser cache and see if it works then.
