tasks Emailing Human Tasks

Is there a way of emailing Human Tasks like an authorisation node?

Ideally we would like the auto authorisation task to be able to have custom fields, so that the authorisor can choose an option from a drop down or list.... but we can't think of a way of achieving this with the current features available

Hi Jeremy,

There isn't anything that I can think of at the moment on how to achieve this.  The existing email template for authorisations just contains links to the two outcomes (accept and reject) for an authorisation and still requires the action to take place within Hornbill.  I can't see a way that we would include custom outcome selections in an email.  For Human Tasks, there have been discussions about email notifications on the assignment of a Human Task to a user, but there is nothing in the schedule at the moment for implementing this.
