HGrigsby Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 Hi I have a BPM that should be picking fields up from a progressive capture to drive some decisions. When I go to the variable picker no progressive captures are showing. What am I doing wrong with this one? If it isn't something obvious then I will upload the PBM if it helps. I hope someone can help out with this, I only ever hit a hitch when it is needed in a hurry! Thanks Helen
Martyn Houghton Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 @HGrigsby Do you have a node in your BPM to get the Progressive Capture Answers, prior to your node with the custom expression on? Cheers Martyn
HGrigsby Posted October 25, 2018 Author Posted October 25, 2018 (edited) hi @Martyn Houghton Yes I do - I thought that might be the answer for a moment. I have deleted the original and put it back in again but it is still doing the same. Helen But starting a new BPM from scratch does allow me to add the fields! Wonder if it will let me copy the stages in to the new one?? Edited October 25, 2018 by HGrigsby Tried something else
Martyn Houghton Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 @HGrigsby If you go into one of your other BPM, that uses Progressive Capture answers, do they appear when you click on the Variable Picker then? What version of Service Manger are you currently on? We are on the latest SM 1364 build and not able to replicate the issue. Cheers Martyn
Martyn Houghton Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 @HGrigsby The only way I can seem to replicate it is to have the Automated Task to get the Progressive Capture Answers after the decision node, instead of before it in the BPM flow. Cheers Martyn 1
HGrigsby Posted October 25, 2018 Author Posted October 25, 2018 @Martyn Houghton thank you, thank you! Sticking the request details in at the start of that stage as well as the first makes it work. So glad as I've got to get this finished today. cheers Helen
Martyn Houghton Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 @HGrigsby Glad you got it sorted. Cheers Martyn
