chriscorcoran
Is it possible to create a new raise type in the drop down? For example we want to create one for raise new alert
Steve Giller
"Alert" is not a Request Type (based solely on the name that would be an Incident) so would not appear in that dropdown.

chriscorcoran
I think the team were looking for something to come through like a monitoring alert, so disk nearly full on a server, so resolved before it becomes an incident.

Preventative action (e.g. freeing up disk space before it causes a fault and becomes an Incident) would probably be a Service Request, even if it's completely automated.
