Ann
Morning All Hope you are all safe and well. We have noticed that there is a new function under Tasks called "Summary Tasks". Once more than 7 tasks have been linked to a summary task there are page numbers to navigate through or arrows. Is it possible for rather than pages numbers that it could become a scroll bar so all tasks can be seen by simply scrolling down the page? Could it also happen on other screens whereby page numbers are used? Please would it also be possible for a brief outline of the purpose of Summary Tasks? Also is there a way of adding existing tasks to a Summary task or only new tasks please? Thank you. Kind Regards Ann
AlexTumber
@Ann thanks for your post. I will speak with our development team about scrolling/paging and the potential impact on performance. The idea of Summary Tasks is to be able to group tasks together in phases of work. You can associate an existing task to a summary task on the relationships tab of each task. Currently there is no way to associate tasks to a summary task from the summary task screen. Alex
Nikolaj
On 10/9/2019 at 10:52 AM, Nikolaj said: Hello Support and other Project Manager Users, What do you think about a list view for Project Manager Tasks and Projects like it is in Service Manager for Requests. I think that would be a big advantage because then you can have a big picture on one site for all Projects if you are a Portfolio Manager. Also for tasks, milestones in a project if you have a lot of them then it is quit complicated to get an complete overview where we are. A benefit could also be a nice filter then like in the service request view. For Tasks over end date or project over end date or milestones. just one example. looking forward of your ideas. Best regards Nikolaj Hello @AlexTumber this is also what we would like to see. Thanks Nikolaj
