Customer does not see the cancellation button on the Employee Portal

Hi All,

I have a basic user who has highlighted they do not appear to get the option to cancel a request on the portal. I have checked her account and all associated configuration and all appears to be correct, and therefore I would expect this to appear. However she doesn't appear to receive the option to cancel as below - any ideas why this may be please?

A couple of things to check

1. Is the request a Service Request or Incident? the Cancel option only applies to Service Requests

2. Does the user have the Self Service Request cancel user role?

I can certainly see the cancel option under those conditions for a basic user

Ah yes that would be why it is an incident she has highlighted rather than a service request - I am going to blame a bad toothache for non functioning brain today
