Ann
Morning Hope you are all safe and well. Please would it be possible to advise if it is possible to create a task within a project which will email through to a third party/external source please? Thank you. Kind Regards Ann
AlexTumber
@Ann thanks for your post. No such functionality currently exists. Perhaps you could expand a little more with regards to your requirement here? You'd like the name/description of a new project task to be automatically sent as an email to an external source? Can I ask what your use case is here? Alex
Nikolaj
+ 1 for us please. Because a lot of project stakeholders don't have a hornbill client. and we would like to send also this kind of project members some tasks and get a feedback. thanks and regards Nikolaj
Ann
Thank you Alex. For us we have a number of complex projects that will involve a large number of tasks, however not all of these tasks will be completed internally, it may be that we need Dell for example to come in and do something to a server. By having a facility whereby the task can be sent to an external source/third party we would not have to create the task AND then separately email or contact the third party to advise of the work that is required with the time frames reducing duplication of work. Thank you. Kind Regards Ann
