creating a new mailbox and Outbound mail rule?

Hi 

I am trying to create a new mailbox but no matter what I try I just get the following error.

I enter the mailbox then get the error below

Is there a certain order you need to do things in order to create a mailbox? what do I need to do?

 

We are in the process migrating from google to O365, so I need to create an outbound rule (which keeps failing also).

Any ideas?

@lee mcdermott In the above example the initial mandatory field appears to be blank, does this get wiped when you try to create the mailbox?

Mailbox names cannot contain any of these characters 

.@\/:*?"<>|

Mailbox names are not allowed to start or end with a space. Mailbox names must be at least two characters long and are limited to a maximum of 64 characters.
