Hornbill Data Export - Database table definition

As the table needs to be defined in the database prior to running the data export process; Is it possible to extract the exact Hornbill table definition rather than rely on the definition generated by the import/export process which utilises generic values?

I have had a look at the entity viewer but there is no option to script out the table definition. Please, advice.

No, there isn't... The table definition is displayed in the Entity Viewer. The table definition displayed there needs to be put in the configuration file. If you are looking/asking for a way to automate this in any form, then there isn't any automation in place that will put this definition in the data export tool configuration file.

The API https://api.hornbill.com/data/?op=entityGetMetaData can be used to return the structure of the entity in either JSON or XML which is how the entity viewer gets its information.
