davidrb84 Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 We are currently experiencing an error when logging jobs. "Failed to log request" Previously we had issues showing a harry hornbill error. Is there a systemic issue?
Victor Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 @davidrb84 - there was a temporary issue in our infrastructure which affected your instance I'm afraid. It was only for a few minutes, all should be working fine now.
Victor Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 @davidrb84 - strange, your instance is definitely up an running without any issues (as far as I see)...perhaps try and log off and log back on?
davidrb84 Posted September 5, 2018 Author Posted September 5, 2018 @Victor still getting failed to log requests unfortunately, have logged out and back in
Stephen Christopher Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 When inspecting via Chrome console, the exact error message returned is "Could Not Insert Activity Record"
davidrb84 Posted September 5, 2018 Author Posted September 5, 2018 by way of an update, looks like it's logging the job but no HUD or diary entries, I suspect maybe no BPM initiated as not assigned when for this type of request I was expect it to be assigned to me (as the logger)
davidrb84 Posted September 5, 2018 Author Posted September 5, 2018 Hi @Victor, still seem to be getting this error sir, anything else I can provide to assist?
Victor Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 @davidrb84 - apologies, I am still looking into this... besides this error, everything else is ok?
davidrb84 Posted September 5, 2018 Author Posted September 5, 2018 @Victor when using 'email' update within a request there's no error but no timeline update is added. Not sure if this helps.
Victor Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 @davidrb84 - thanks. we're looking into it. will come back to you asap.
dwalby Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 This is one of a number of symptoms our instance is experiencing, more detail in my post here:
Victor Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 @davidrb84 - once again, apologies, all issues should be fixed in your instance @dwalby - the symptoms you reported are not related to this specific issue and is something that is being looked into separately...
davidrb84 Posted September 5, 2018 Author Posted September 5, 2018 thanks @victor looks good from here, are you able to give us a clue as to the cause?
