Hello @alextumber,

It seems that the notification for a task is not working fine when a colleague ( Project Member) is doing it. when i do it as "Project Manager" then it works fine.

We tried it several times.

is there any access rights missing?

Thanks Nikolaj

@Nikolaj thanks for confirming this. Our development team have identified the problem when completing a task from outside of the project manager app and are currently working on a fix. In the mean time, I can confirm that the setting of the notify pm flag when creating new milestones and tasks will now be controlled by app settings. This also applies to milestones and tasks created against project templates and will be available in the next update:

@alextumber this is great thanks.

I have something else maybe that is an change request for your Team.

It would be nice if the Project task in the activity list looks the same as in Hornbill Project Manager and not like a task from the Service Manager.

then is much easier to identify where the task come from and you also have the full function of it for example you can post a comment or you can change the progress status.

Project Task in project Manager:

Project Task same as the task from the top but from the activity view:

Task from the Service Manager in Hornbill:

+ 1 on this feature too. It would make it a lot easier when managing a wide variety of different tasks via 'Activities'
