Asset Already Exists?

Hi, very commonly my engineers advise when creating assets, they get an error saying the asset already exists.  When I try to create the asset with the same details, I am not prompted.  Is there anyway to troubleshoot or remedy this?

Are you creating the assets manually or are you creating assets via the use of asset imports?

I run a few tests and I am unable to replicate this issue.

Can you give some more info about the type of asset they are trying to add and the properties?
