That does sound like it would help. We have a few people working on the email queue at the same time so anything that stops them logging the same calls would be helpful

We have also started getting a lot of non delivery reports in the mailbox. is there something that we can do to stop them as there are a lot coming through.

We have very similar issue with both logging from email and with our change process, for which we have a support call raised.
Any help much appreciated
