  1. The request shown in the attached screenshots is showing in my Open Requests list even though in every other area, it shows as Closed.

    The request had been re-opened and assigned to me for action.  I duly completed this and resolved the request.  Normally the BPM would then close it.

    How can I close this request please?

Bit of an odd one.  Last couple of updates have been to version 1048 both times - which I thought was odd at the time.  1052 that is pending now is clear enough, but shouldn't what is shown on the 'About' tab be consistent with the 'Update History' tab? (i.e. where are the details about what changed in 1049?)

We have given a number of staff the Business Process Manager role to build Business Process Workflows.  This is the standard 'out-of-the box' role.  When working, they keep getting the attached error message when selecting auto tasks.  They could still amend the node details fine.  Do you know why this error comes up please?

     

    Our guess is that there is a degree of limitation on what options they can set up within the node with that role, but we don't know what these are.  Please advise.

    We need to set up a rule the auto-fwds all emails sent to a mailbox in Service Manager to another email address not on Service Manager.  Please can you let me know if this is possible.

    (we haven't gone live yet, but are getting some stray emails sent to these mailboxes in error and want to auto fwd them to our current system's mailboxes until we go live)

    We want to set up some validation on procap fields:

    email

    4 digits

    max 11 digits (for phone numbers)

    We're not the greatest code experts.  Are you able to advise us where we can find the relevant REGEX codes to apply this validation please?

  6. We have set up a number of services and catalogue items in the last few weeks.  Half have been set up by one person, the other half by another person. 

    The ability to print requests and the print options work on half the catalogue items, but for the other half of them, although the print icon is present, when clicked, nothing happens (i.e. print options are not presented)

    It appears that the latter have been set up differently somehow so that this feature isn't enabled, but we can't find setting that controls this according to Service / Catalogue item.

Thanks Steve, that's most helpful on both counts.  I have to say that I didn't see the count-down that you mention.  I'm guessing it was either in My Notifications or from Giphy, which I admit I'm not monitoring much at the moment as we are still in our setting up period.  I'll keep an eye out for this type of thing from now on though.

  8. A couple of weeks ago we put this URL into email templates: https://service.hornbill.com/walthamforest/servicemanager/request/view/{{.H_pk_reference}}kind

    When clicked on by a customer, it should take them to their request.  When this was set up, it was definitely working.  This week, it throws an error (see attached).  We don’t know why this doesn’t work now. 

     

    Also this week, our LIVE home page display changed from a strip of icons displaying down the left side to a tile display at the top left for all users.  We did not make this change as far as we are aware.  What controls this please?

     

    The only system change we have made is in Home>Hornbill Service Manager>Application Settings to switch off app.requests.cancel.commentMandatory. 

    We are on Hornbill Service Manager Build 944 (updated on 5th April)
