  1. Hi, I've attached an image that will hopefully make things more clear.

Basically as long as you set a category and set some time, it will be added to your timesheet records. If you don't set any of these, it will not be added.

You can set default categories to avoid seeing these warnings all the time by going to: Manage Categories -> Manage Default Categories -> Select the email one and set defaults.

    Thanks,

    Daniel.

  2. Hi,

That button is not related to logging Request, you can use it to measure time against that particular email. It shows the warning symbol because no default category has been assigned.
I can see that the confusion could come because the icon is quite similar to the one used for an Incident. I'll make sure is changed.

I hope is more clear now,

    Thanks,

    Daniel.

  3. Hi Martyn,

What we call "The Global Search" switches context based on the view you are currently on. So if you are in the Request view, it will switch to Request Search and therefore the Newsfeed View will use the Workspace Search.

Maybe what we can think of is a Default View rather than a default search? If you are interested in Requests, you could set that as the main view and that is what you will see after logging in. In that case the search will also be switched to the Requests Search.

    What do you think?

    Thanks,

    Daniel

  4. In this case, we thought that the fact that you are a manager should give you extra options to manage your team in the Timesheet Context. We wanted to avoid adding the extra complexity of the roles.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

  5. Hi Adam,

The Service Manager team is working on integrating the Timesheet Manager App with requests.

The app will evolve as requirements come through, but if you have any ideas please let us know.

    Thanks,

    Daniel.

  6. Yes Martyn,

This is more or less what we had in mind. Probably change the name from "placeholder" to something like "Help Text" and show it in a tooltip in from a question mark. We could support WiKi markup so that you can add a URL and that will open in a new window.
Regarding the description for the services, although is used in Progressive Capture, that is out of this configuration. It can be configured in the Service Manager and it does accept WiKi markup, it displays in an information icon next to the service name in the Progressive Capture.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

  7. Hi Martyn,

That specific option does not apear in the system settings and it cannot be turned off. The reason is like that is because we wanted to allow people to activate the desktop notifications.
However talking to the platform team, the do have a plan to enable this but don't have a time frame yet.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

  8. Hi Samwoo,

The post option in the NewsFeed is the same as posting from your profile. In general, unless the person follows you or a workspace (using join) they will not get your posts. The news feed is an individual stream of posts that you have specifically chosen to follow.

We are planing to make a change to allow seeing posts in people's Buzz without following him. That will make more sense when you post something as Public.

    Hope this helped,

    Kind regards,

    Daniel

  9. Hi Martyn,

I understand your requirement and have discussed this with the platform team. Is not a simple solution because of the complexity inchecking rights against every user and every notification.

But, they will have a look at this soon and asses if is possible to implement this in a relatively short amount of time.

    I will keep you informed.

    Thanks,

    Daniel.
