Intelligent Capture fields holding variables?

Can a IC field hold a variable based on a previously answered field? and if so how would I do this?

Intelligent Capture fields can be displayed/hidden based on the contents of other fields, either in the same form or previous forms, as detailed on the wiki.

I'm not sure what you mean by "hold a variable" however.

I would like the label of another field to populate with the value of a previously answered field. 

 

For example an initial fields asks a user to provide what they want with values of 'mailbox', 'distribution list' 'calendar' so on so forth, a next field is 'What would you like the name of the mailbox to be' 

to keep a similar pattern you end up repeating the same field over and over with a slight change which would be handled much better as a variable of the field value. I get that we could just ask for the name alone but I feel this sort of feature would be very useful for multiple reasons
