Email template with Hyperlinks, not show in web version of email

When sending out templates with hyperlinks, the link will appear fine in Office 2016 and Office 365 client,  but on the web version is puts it as this.   

 

We redid the link in the template and it worked once and then went back to show it has above.   Has any one else come across this?

Could you also include how you have specified the link within your template?  This way I can test with the exact same set up as you.   It might be something like not including the https as part of the link.

I think the link might have been pointing to a redirect web link.  Just in the process of testing it
