Owned By Amendment

Hope you are all well.

Please would it be possible to help/advise?  In the Supplier module how can the ‘Owned By’ be amended.  The ‘Owned By’ details are populated when the Supplier record is first created, using the details of the person completing the record, however this would not necessarily be the person who is responsible for the management of that supplier.  Thank you.

I'm not sure I understand. You can define or change the supplier owner at any time. It's mandatory for a supplier to have an owner so we set that as the person who creates the supplier record if an owner is not explicitly defined. Are you looking for the ability to update supplier owners in bulk?

Thank you.  We do not need to change the owner in bulk, we just can not see how to change the owner on a single record, is there a simple way of doing this please as we can not see anything obvious?  Thank you.

@Ann if you look to the right hand side of the supplier record you should see the owner displayed there. If you are the owner of the supplier you should see an 'edit' button. Clicking on that will open a popup window and allow you to select a new owner.

@Ann I've spoken with our development team and it appears it's only possible to change the owner if you are the owner yourself. 

It's a small change to extend the functionality to anyone with the Supplier Administrator role, which makes sense, so they are going to add that in the next update.
