Apostrophe in search for assets

I'm not sure if this has ALWAYS happened or not, but we're doing some asset searches looking for anything owned by someone whose name is 'O'Toole' and, as soon as we enter the apostrophe, we get this error:

 

 

Doing a search for 'Toole' brings this back, so we know that there are assets for this person, and obviously this is the workaround we're using at the moment.

Searching in the 'Request List' using the O'Toole name DOESN'T break this.....

 

 

So, I'm wondering if this has ALWAYS been the case (where we can't search assets using an apostrophe) or if something has broken?

we identified an issue with the query to load the list of assets if the search term contains an apostrophe.
I will mention this issue to be fixed.
