Hi all,

How can I get a user (who isn't the customers) manager? 

I have a form where the originator puts a staff members name in a field and I need to send a notification to that users line manager but I cant work out how to get the info.

It isnt for anything sinister, I am trying to replicate our current eThank You card process and replace (yet another) horrible SP form. 

I also get the feeling I will need to do this for more of our HR processes.

Help please! :)

There is this Hornbill Automation, but the user's manager seems to be the one thing that is missing.  The development team are going to have a look at adding an option for getting the Manager of a user.

Hi Dan,

The work has just been completed.  It will have to go through its release cycle, but I would expect that this will be in the next Collaboration Core update.  Keep an eye open on the release notes over the next few weeks.
