Adrian Simpkins Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 Hi All One of our customers is getting an error code Could not connect to server (error code: -1) when trying to connect to the Service Portal. We have cleared down all files on the browser, but the message still persists - anyone know why this message may be generating please? Image below shows the message Many thanks !
Deen Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 @Adrian Simpkins I have seen this when an instance is under very heavy load, however if only one user is affected I would discount this and local factors. Does the error still occur if they try a different browser?
Adrian Simpkins Posted February 21, 2020 Author Posted February 21, 2020 Hi Deen Thanks for the speedy reply Currently our customers are on Windows 7 with IE as their only browser option. We are moving to Windows 10 and they will use Edge, but this is some way off. However it depends which site they are working on as to what browsers can be installed. I will go back to the Customer to arrange installation of another browser (if possible) and see what happens then Many thanks
