Deprecated

Hi

Is it right that we can't select 'Deprecated' in the Process Type anymore when getting form details?  We get the message below but when we then use the alternative  (ie get request information and progressive capture answers) it then take ages to the variable picker to load in as we have so many pro caps that its pulling through.

This automated task is deprecated and should not be used. Please use the newer alternative. 

This is slowing down production of BPMs as we literally have to wait about 30 seconds or so for it to load so we can select the a variable we want to use.  Is this a performance problem our end of because we can't use Deprecated anymore?

Hi Sam @SJEaton,

We are looking to deprecate automated tasks and operations that have a much improved and newer alternative. Have you considered switching to the suggested alternative?

In the example below, clicking on Load Alternative will automatically load the automated task that we recommend for you to use.

Ofcourse this will require you to adapt to change in options that are available but this should be speedy to configure.

I understand that this will require you to update the Business Processes but this is the only way that we can move forward with better-performing and much-more-enhanced operations.

So the actual issue is "that it takes a long time to show the variable picker because its loading in a lot of PCF process variables" and that will happen regardless of what node you are setting up. We will have a look at this.

Yes I am clicking on load alternative and its then taking ages to show the variable picker list. thanks
