Shamaila.Yousaf
On Supportworks we applied the following !PS: against an asset along with a message, so if anyone tried logging a call against that particular asset the pop up message would appear. Is this possible in Service Manager? Thanks for your assistance.
James Ainsworth
Hi Shamaila, Thanks for your post. This feature is not currently available in Service Manager. I would be interested to know the types of messages that you used this for? In Supportworks it was a very generic message box where anything could be presented, but I would like to know if there was a main use so I can have a look at where this may fit in with Service Manager. I will look forward to hearing from you James
Shamaila.Yousaf
Thanks for your reply back James. If a staff leaver does not hand back their IT asset to us, we apply a message indicating that the asset has been disconnected from the network as staff leaver has not passed back the equipment. Popup message is an indicator to IT Staff so they know there's a legitimate reason for this and to keep hold of the laptop.
Shamaila.Yousaf
Afternoon @James Ainsworth, do you kindly have a workaround for the above for us please? Thanks in advance.
James Ainsworth
Hi Shamaila, I'm afraid that there isn't an available option or workaround for providing a pop-up. For now the best option is to provide the information in the Notes field. We will continue to look at these suggestions and review them for future updates. Regards, James
