Sam P
Is it possible to prevent / remove / hide this ability to request access to requests across Service Domains (in my example)? Thanks
Sam P
Would anyone else find this useful? Being able to have a choice whether or not this is an option? For organisations that manage multiple domains, how do you prevent users requesting access to other areas of the platform?
Berto2002
I don't have multiple domains. I am intrigued as to where that notification/request goes though. We use Subscribers lists for our big applications and they have related email distribution groups and we closely control the process to add/remove from them. For the other 100 or so services everyone sees all the services "in case" they need them. I am working on a self-subscription idea for these services so users can choose what they see on their portal page. This is kind of in the same space so will monitor. I ran through this with Victor and the request goes through to the request owner, the owner would need to add the requestor as a member to allow them to see the request itself. Thinking ahead to if/when we introduce HR/Finance to our instance, it could be wholly inappropriate for someone to be able to request such access - I really don't want to have to rely on staff remembering that they shouldn't click that button! It should be down to each instance owner to decide (in my opinion )
