Sandip Bhogal Posted November 13, 2023 Share Posted November 13, 2023 Hi, I have created an Hornbill automation on workflow, I want an email to be sent out to specific team not the customer, below is screenshot of available options, im not sure which option would work for this, needed help. I believe that what you need to start with is automation to Get Email Address for Group Members. This will return a comma separated list of email addresses. Following this, you can then use the Email External Address automation. On this automation you will want to use the Variable option on the External Addresses option. I hope this helps. I've made 2x Automations: Directors email confirmation automation looks like: Let me know if i missed out on anything else before i can test this. Sandip Bhogal Posted November 14, 2023 Author Share Posted November 14, 2023 When i added the automations seems like there was another process which got lost whilst having this inplace, the system was meant to send an email to the director it did not work due to these changes. James Ainsworth Posted November 14, 2023 Share Posted November 14, 2023 Hi Sandip, If you only need to send the email to a fixed list of users then you can just use the Email External Address. Sandip Bhogal Posted November 15, 2023 Author Share Posted November 15, 2023 its so strange like when I added Hornbill automation: after i tested this, the ticket email goes through, but it closes the request automatically, something is not letting it work fro this hornbill automation, i dont know what it is. and when i delete this hornbill automation the processes start working properly again, just lacks that email confirmation to be sent to MyTapSupport team Is there anything you reckon i need to take off? James Ainsworth Posted November 15, 2023 Share Posted November 15, 2023 I can't see any reason why your workflow would change behaviour from adding this one node.
