DataSource.Error: ADO.NET: R script error. PowerBI

Running R 4.3.1 setting a report connection up on a new machine and getting the following, Running on the old machine 4.2.1 seems OK, thats the only difference I can see, any ideas why I might be seeing the following error?

 

DataSource.Error: ADO.NET: R script error.
Error: 
Execution halted

ADO.NET: R script error. Error in curl::curl_fetch_memory(url, handle = handle) : URL using bad/illegal format or missing URL Calls: GET ... request_fetch -> request_fetch.write_memory -> <Anonymous> Execution halted

 

works fine on 4.2.1 on an older version of PowerBi Desktop (2022)
