Can't copy an email template

I'm trying to copy an email template, but I'm getting an error and the 'new' email template isn't being created. I've tried copying a few templates, and they all have the same outcome (ie. no template is created)

When I click the 'copy' icon, and enter a new name, I get this icon for a few seconds: 

 

then this error:

 

Any ideas please?

 

 

Edit: IN fact I've just tried creating an email from scratch, and I get the same error.
