Opening and closing calls via email

I see its possible in service manager to open a call from an email but is it also possible to close a call from an email.

 

Basically we get email alerts about Wireless access point being down we would then want a call open for this however if another email comes in saying this access point is back online then we would want this call to automatically close. There for jsut leaving the emails/calls that need investigating by the team as they have not come back online.
