CAllum181
I see its possible in service manager to open a call from an email but is it also possible to close a call from an email. Basically we get email alerts about Wireless access point being down we would then want a call open for this however if another email comes in saying this access point is back online then we would want this call to automatically close. There for jsut leaving the emails/calls that need investigating by the team as they have not come back online. Thanks Callum
Deen
@CAllum181 Unfortunately going on the wiki article, it looks like only raise and update are possible via email at this time. https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php/Email_Routing_Rules
James Ainsworth
Hi Callum, Out of interest, on these requests, are you leaving the customer blank and just associating an asset or do you have a fictitious user under which these are raised? CAllum181
Cheers Deen that is a shame if that's so. James have not actually set it up yet, but however we did do it wouldn't matter to us if it had a customer or not as there just against asset's going up and down.
