AndyHodkinsonPrincesIT Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 Hi, our service desk would like to know if it is possible to copy and paste an attachement directly to the body of an email within a service manager request, instead of having to drag an attachment into the add field or browse to it. This would make adding attachment quicker and better for them to process requests. Thanks Regards, Andy Hodkinson 1
Victor Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 Since the Hornbill Service Manager is presented and interacted via a browser it boils down to allowing a file to be copied (from elsewhere) into a browser which as far as I know is not possible... You can try this with Gmail as we (copy pasting files) and it won't work... I think Firefox has some functionality implemented for copy and pasting files but not sure... What I want to say that this might very well be the case that we cannot achieve this due to the limitations/restrictions of the browser itself...
