Guest Paul Alexander Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 We have a group which is populated by an LDAP import every night, which which searches and imports members of a specific AD group. I have a Catalog Item which I make visible only to people in this group. However, the members of this group get changed constantly - people are added and removed on a daily basis. However, the LDAP tool only ADDS members, and won't remove them if they're no longer in the AD group. Is there a way of removing all users from a group on a daily basis so that the 'current' members can be reloaded from LDAP import? Hope this makes sense... thanks
James Ainsworth Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Hi Paul, Just a quick idea to throw out there... I've not used this myself but the API Scheduler may be able to do this for you. I could only see an API to delete a Group and not delete all the users in a group. Are you familiar with the API Scheduler? Regards, James
Guest Paul Alexander Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Hi @James Ainsworth Thanks for that...I'm not familiar with the API Scheduler yet, but I have a feeling I will be soon I'll give it a look....thanks
