[Tags not linked to documents?]

Hi,
Although you can add tags directly from the document page, because those tags can be linked to other documents they will not be automatically removed when you remove the document.  Once a tag is created it will be available for selection on other documents so that you can associate multiple documents to a tag.
Because of this we have a separate page for managing tags where you can manually add and remove tags, if you have the MyLibrary Manager view you will be able to access it from the tags section by clicking on the Tag Management icon.

We have identified an issue with the Orion User Group Picker which is effecting its use when you are filtering by group type we are currently working on this as a high priority and expect to have a fix very soon. In the meantime it should work if you remove the filter by group type option in the field settings in your progressive capture.  Will update when we have released a fix for this issue.

[Set / View priority against activities]

Thanks for your post, I think that the priority not being visible/editable on the activities form is an oversight especially as it can be set in the BPM as you say. I will raise a change to get this implemented and will let you know when it is available.

[Emails used to raise or update requests are not preserved]

Sorry for the delay in responding, we have made improvements to the performance of the mailboxes which will hopefully negate the need to hard delete emails for performance reasons in the future.  And we are currently investigating the possibility of introducing a soft delete in cases where the email might be referenced somewhere else in the system.

[Error uploading Documents]

There is a maximum file upload size of 10M for all files so unfortunately you are unable to upload files larger than this, will check and make sure that the error message you get when this happens is more informative.

Have identified the problem with the dynamic collections not displaying any documents and raised a High priority defect to address it which will be fixed in the next release of Document Manager, will let you know when this is available.

[Adding pictures to document]

Thanks for posting the screencapture, from it it seems like the problem occurs when you replace an already existing image with another image.  I am able to recreate this and verify that there is a problem here, we will investigate this and will let you know when we have a fix for it.

In the meantime you can work around this problem by deleting the existing placeholder image before uploading the new image and then it should work correctly.

Hi,

I don't see any problems with embedding images in documents myself, I would recommend uploading the image rather than attaching a weblink as the weblink could potentially be blocked from the site you are linking from.

Could you let me know what version of document manager you are on and also what browser you are having problem with?

[Review Period for Documents]

Hi @gwynne,

Thanks for your post, we do provide an option for setting a review date on a Document, this will allow you to schedule a date when the document is due to be reviewed and will create an activity against that document to remind you when the document is up for renewal.  This can be done by clicking on the Review tab on the document properties page (see screenshot) or by entering a Review Date when creating a document.  The review activity will be visible in the activities panel of the document so you can assign, edit or complete the activity easily from within the document page.  Hope this helps.

[Activity attachment error]

Hi,
This right should be present in the Collaboration Role but unfortunately there is a defect currently which means it is missing, this should be fixed very soon.
In the mean time you can create a new role in the Admin tool by clicking the Add Role Button in System > Organisational Data > Roles.  When you have created it you will need to grants the Database Rights for the table h_sys_entity_attachments, you need to give browse, view and insert rights and will then need to assign this role to the user.
