  1. Dear Hornbill Aficionados,

     

    I'm creating a form where the answers displayed in the intelligent capture will display different answers on the back end. unfortunately while formatting all of these back end responses, i noticed that once i started adding in the  values into the fields, what was displayed was wildly wrong, I'm getting repeated answers in the questions field.

     

    Could someone tell me how this was triggered and how to rectify this please? This problem seems to defy all logic.

  2. Hello Trevor,

     

    Yes the auto-task is launched via a custom button, however, the board ID and the Card Id do not appear as global inputs, I've attempted to use the code manually, but I'm still encountering the same problems

    Is there a specific node or nodes  i should place before trying this again?

    You are trying to assign ownership to a TEAM and not to an individual. The owner of a Task should be an individual user. This user has the ability to do whatever necessary to the task (eg to re-assign the task), so probably best given to a manager or so (eg yourself or "System Administrator").

    There is also a "Task Assignment" which is who is WORKING on the Task. I suspect that that is what you want to use here, as that CAN be a Team. Currently you have that assigned to "System Administrator". If you select "Assign to Variable" from the dropdown currently labeled "Assign to User", then place the TeamId variable there, then that should work.

    I'm trying to make an auto-task that removes board entries for cancelled requests and while I've got it to work for a specific board, I was wondering if there was a way to program the auto task to collect the board name automatically from the request so this feature can be used for multiple boards.

  5. Dear Community,

     

    I've been testing some workflows and just as I got to concluding them I discovered a fairly large problem.

    The system has failed to recognise the selected test area teams for human task assignment, so far i've tested 2 teams, "BS - Test SI" & "TEST IT" and nothing has worked.(See images below)

    I even made copies of tests that were previously successful from last week and they've produced the same result. (See images below)

    Please see below for error messages and human task node assignment settings.

     

    Can someone please advise me on where I or the system may have gone wrong? I'm unable to complete further testing until this is revolved.

    The process definitely recognises the fields because the authorisation messages pull out the values with no problem in the same process.

     

    Please see attached: an email referencing missing values & the subsequent authorisation email that doesn't.

  7. Hello Everyone,

    i recently developed an upgrade to an existing workflow but i discovered that this workflow has historically been failing to port over custom fields, affecting some of the emails and the summary content.

    i've managed to fix the summary content problem, however the issue of missing custom field in the emails is still prevalent.

  8. Hello Everyone,

    I'm working on a build that's supposed to open multiple linked requests in parallel whilst staying open until all of the linked requests have been resolved, however i've come across multiple issues achieving this. 

     

    i've used HB automation nodes to to "suspend" and "wait for linked request resolution", however once i've resolved the linked requests in testing, the master request still remains open 

     

    please can somebody clarify where i'm going wrong here?

  9. Hello all,

    I'm trying to produce a report on all approvals sent and the table I've been trying to use is h_bpm_email_approvals, and unfortunately, it has proved fruitless when extracting relevant info i.e. "sent from" & "sent to" etc as these designated fields end up blank, is there a more effective table or method to extract such information?

    I'm consistently having trouble getting the system to update or display custom fields, what's more is that it only seems to be affecting me in my organisation, any email template I create will show the bare bones code (please see attachment), despite other working perfectly.

    Has anybody come across this issue? If so how can i rectify it?

  11. Dear Hornbill Community,

     

    I've been trying to make use of the impact assessment function, I like it because it allows my organisation to make questions weighted to create questionnaires.

    The problem I'm having is that wile the assessment pulls through on the BPM, it fails to show on anything else when try and upload it into a custom field for email & external authorisations, it just shows the Impact Level. (High, low, etc)

     

    Could anyone advise me on where I'm going wrong?
