Guest Mark Simpkins
Hi, Is it possible to take an existing asset, copy it and then change a few of the parameters, eg, the asset number, maybe associated dates? To speed up adding certain categories of asset, which come into the organisation in bulk, it would be easier to be able to take an existing entry and then just copy and update. I cant find any way on the interface as it stands to do this, so was wondering if this is possible or not. Thanks Mark
ArmandoDM
Hi @Mark Simpkins the UI does not provide any functionality to create an asset starting from an existing one. One option would be to use the Upload Asset functionality, which let you import any number of assets from a CSV file. You may find some documentation about this functionality here: https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php/Upload_Assets_CSV Regards, Armando
