Tina.Lapere
Hi, I've just been looking at linking requests and noticed that when searching you have to put in the whole call number and not partial information like elsewhere. Is there any way this change be changed as having to type in all the information is a pain? Thanks Trying to link 2 calls together.docx
James Ainsworth
Hi Tina, This is using an indexing service that does not allow for wildcards to be used at the beginning of a search term. If you were to type in SR*926 in your example you should be able to find your request. Although this page is not related to the linking of requests, it does describe some of the types of syntax that can be used in searches. https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php/Workspaces Using the indexer in this way does provide a lot of advantages with performance and additional syntax. I would agree that it is not very obvious and we will look at ways to add more options. Regards, James
