Requests - Linking

Hi, I've just been looking at linking requests and noticed that when searching you have to put in the whole call number and not partial information like elsewhere.  Is there any way this change be changed as having to type in all the information is a pain?

Hi Tina,

This is using an indexing service that does not allow for wildcards to be used at the beginning of a search term.   If you were to type in SR*926 in your example you should be able to find your request.

Using the indexer in this way does provide a lot of advantages with performance and additional syntax.  I would agree that it is not very obvious and we will look at ways to add more options.
