Martyn Houghton
Since the application of Service Manager 2.34/2.35 we have noticed that in progressive capture when logging a new request through the user app the Customer Search form is repeated after you have selected the service and the service specific PC is applied. PC used to skip the Customer Search form automatically after the Service specific PC was applied, but now appears with the already populated customer details requiring you to click on Next. Can this be looked into to re-instate the automatic completion. Cheers Martyn
ArmandoDM
@Martyn Houghton, We are investigating this issue and we will get back to you once we've fixed it Regards Armando
Guest Chaz
@Martyn Houghton are you making use of the new switch node functionality? If so, then we have stopped the skipping of forms as you no longer need to re-populate the same fields.
Gary@ADL
Ive noticed this as well, I find it fixes if you set the node to be mandatory = true, if it is false it seems to skip back to it - if it is true, it still skips back to it, but then moves off it again,
Martyn Houghton
@Gary@ADL I will try setting it to mandatory. I think we had it set to false to fix an issue with mandatory forms in a earlier version. @cchana Not sure what the 'new switch node' functionality is, so suspect we are not using it. Did a quick search of the forum and the wiki to see if there was any reference to it but could not find anything. We just have the three standard questions at the beginning of each services PC. Martyn Houghton
@Gary@ADL Thanks. Setting the form to mandatory has resulted in the form not re-prompting to confirm the customer. Strange but it works, which is the main thing. Cheers Martyn
Martyn Houghton
@Mohamed They are different Progressive Captures, we have a basic default one to get to the point of it being logged against a service. Cheers Martyn

When was it introduced and what does it do? Thanks, Alex
Guest Chaz
OK, so no one is using that functionality yet (fully supported 2.36 onwards) This new functionality will switch from one progressive capture to another without the jumping and without having to include all the forms again. This should make progressive captures much easier to manage. If this node is used, you'll need to configure the parent and the 'child' Progressive Captures for it, until then any duplicate forms that have already been configured will continue to show.
