Tina.Lapere
Hi, Is it possible to allow us customise the Customer area like we can in the details area etc? My colleagues have said they would like the department field to be visible and this would be helpful to them. Thanks Tina
Martyn Houghton
Tina Do you mean in terms of the visibility of the contact fields when viewing a request or when viewing a external customer under contacts?
Gerry
Hi Tina, A simple screenshot is always helpful when asking this sort of question. Used a free tool called Jing to grab the screen and annotate it with an arrow. Just a suggestion, it might make it easier to convey your question using this approach Gerry
Guest Ehsan
Hi Tina, I have a feeling you may be referring to the Customer Search Pro Cap while raising a request, is that correct? Thanks, Ehsan
PSG
Hello, I think we're after the same thing as Tina, we'd like to be able to add fields to the "Customer" section on a Request. E.g. we'd like to show a user's "Division" here:

Tina.Lapere
Hi All, Just to confirm (as I appear to never have responded - sorry about that :-/ ) Yes we are after what @PSG has suggested. The reason behind this is to allow us to identify the customer quicker. Thanks Tina

Steven Boardman
@PSG @Tina.Lapere it is now possible in the latest Service Manager update to configure the displayed attributes which appear in the customer section on a request. This can be configured in the admin console > service manager > configuration > requests Steve
