Editing snippets within email update

Hi,

We have a project coming up where we want to send numerous different automated templates so I wanted to make use of the snippets. However, the Snippets only allow us to type in text, keeping the font colour etc the same when added.

Would it be possible for you to allow us to be able to amend this within the Snippet creator. Alternatively if this could be added to the box where we manually type out our email that would also be useful:

 With us only being able to use the one default update message when setting up a service for each customer, it would help us a lot if we could amend font styles etc before sending out the message.

Any update on this please as we have another request for another project coming up mid September where having flexibility to amend snippets would be a great benefit to us.

Hi Greg, 

My apologies for not have a response to you sooner.  This will be a worth while addition to the Snippets.  I'm afraid that this is not a scheduled change at the moment so I don't see it being available in the short term.  I will put the change proposal up for review to see if we can make some progress with it.

Thanks for your post.

There hasn't been any movement on this as of yet.  It is still in our backlog.  I'll be sure to post back here once a decision has been made about progressing it.

Hi @samwoo

There is similar forum post and a related change in our backlog for adding more formatting to emails sent from a request which I have your name on. 
 

These are closely related and possibly the they would be done at the same time.  There are some complexities and challenges with this as the formats need to be transferred across into an email template which is used to send the emails that are composed within a request.  We have a couple of concepts that we have tried and we plan on moving forward with one of these in the future.
