bwood
Hi. Bit of weird one. I've noticed lately that when resolving calls and using capital letters in the resolution summary, the resolution email that goes to the customer is replacing any capital letter with a lower case letter. This is a bit of a problem when the resolution is for a password reset and the password includes capital letters... I thought I was going mad! Keith Stevenson
Ben, Thanks for the question. The case of the variable in the email template dictates the case of the text. Therefore, if your variable is all lower case the email will be all lower case. If you use mixed case for the variable namethen it will respect the case as it is in the database. bwood
Thanks for the quick response Keith. How do I change this variable? Ben
Keith Stevenson
Ben, If you goto the Admin portal, under Home->System->Email-Templates you can click to edit the required template and then change the variable to mixed case ( ie H_Summary for mixed, h_summary for lower or H_SUMMARY for upper).
