enhancement Custom views for assets list

Hi,

We've been looking at the Assets and I have a couple of suggestions for improvements. These are:

* Ability to have different views within Assets - to show all operational or retired assets etc

* A shorter list of assets that get returned - it is very slow to load and scroll down. Maybe if it just displayed 100 and then you had a next page

I'd be grateful if you could let me know your thoughts on the above.

Hi Tina, you're right, we can make it faster and we'll look to do that soon. We have a feature request raised for allowing views to be created for assets, the reference is CH00135070 but this is not currently in the queue for development.

As part of the Service Manager update build 1944 (and newer) we have added additional options in the Asset tool bar:

Views
Based on each Asset Class you can now define and save unique Views to display assets that meet defined criteria. Select the columns to display for each View that you create.

Home Button
Once you have your Views defined, you can apply one of these Views to your Home Button to make sure that each time you view your Assets, you are presented with the information that is most important to you.

Advanced Filter
Looking for something specific? The Advanced Filter lets you search on the details of any asset.
