I just wanted to check that if I add a ticket to a board, the timeline on the board card is different from the request timeline?

If this is correct is there anyway to update a request timeline from the board view.

Hi,

Yes the Board has a seperate timeline to the request, I don't think the request timeline can be updated directly from the board view without opening the request first by using the open link button on the card. 

Depending on your need you could use an autotask to update a request timeline and then trigger that autotask to occur when moving a card into/out of a lane using the board automations or trigger it from a custom button on the card, if that would help to achieve what you want to do?
