Peter Clough Posted March 18 Posted March 18 We're looking at rebuilding some of our change process, potentially using Board Manager to manage the outcomes of change boards. One of the routes discussed was using Authorisation Status. The idea would be that we'd drag a card on Board Manager, which would then update the request via autotask. However at present there is no option to suspend a call waiting for a change in authorisation status. Ideally, this would be similar to the suspend for status change, where we can specify which auth-status we're waiting for it to change from, and then run a decision in the workflow to move from there. As a small aside, an additional status such as Withdrawn would be useful for us, and could also be used as an expiry state, potentially, though I realise that's very much less generalised a suggestion and is much less important.
Berto2002 Posted March 21 Posted March 21 @Peter Clough could you have the autotask update something that does have an existing "wait for" in the suspend node and AFTER that the workflow itself sets the authorisation? For example, autotask puts "approved" in custom D which triggers workflow to resume and a decision node decides which authorisation result to give it.
Peter Clough Posted March 21 Author Posted March 21 That could be done, yes. I feel like it would be a workaround at best though, but if we come to need it sooner rather than later, we'll likely consider it.
