Peter Clough Posted March 13 Posted March 13 When using a suspend node, there is the option to have a notice show for the duration of the suspend, which we find very useful to explain why a request is suspended. Would it be possible to have this same functionality added to human tasks? They also function somewhat as a suspend, though of course with additional functionality. We have had a request to look at adding notices around human tasks as well. Obviously we can do this with additional nodes before and after, but similar to how stage checkpoints work, it would be useful if notices could be placed while a task is active, both for analyst information and for customer visibility. Please could this be considered as an enhancement.
Steve Giller Posted March 13 Posted March 13 I'll raise this internally, but I'm not sure this will be possible because a Suspend node is Service Manager functionality and can easily use Notices which are also Service Manager. Tasks are Core functionality and can be created completely independently of a Request, so having "Notice" options do not make sense in that context. 1
Sam P Posted Monday at 12:04 Posted Monday at 12:04 +1 I like this idea - a lot of nodes are used before and after Human Tasks for the adding and removing of Notices - this would really help me reduce the number of nodes on the canvas
