Hi,

We are seeing sometimes our pages seem to crash, this can be when duplicating a tab or having multiple tabs open - Is anyone else seeing this?

Haven't raised with support as its almost impossible to replicate on demand

Looks like an Edge screenshot - but the advice from Chrome is almost identical. From the MS website:

The STATUS_BREAKPOINT error in Microsoft Edge might be due to several reasons, including conflicting extensions, corrupted cache or cookies, or issues with the latest update. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve these problems:

  1. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Accumulated cache or corrupted cookies might be causing conflicts. Go to "Settings" > "Privacy, search, and services" > "Choose what to clear" and select "Cached images and files" and "Cookies and other site data." Then click on "Clear now."
    • Disclaimer: Your browser automatically saves temporary internet files to help pages load faster. Clearing this cache will sometimes fix website issues. Please back up all your personal files first, such as Favorites, to ensure you do not lose data.
  2. Disable Extensions: Extensions can sometimes interfere with the browser's performance. Temporarily disable all extensions and see if the problem persists. If not, enable them one by one to identify the problematic extension.
  3. Reset Edge Settings: Go to "Settings" > "Reset settings" and select "Restore settings to their default values." This action resets your browser settings to the default configuration.
  4. Disable Hardware Acceleration:
    • Hardware acceleration can sometimes cause issues. In Microsoft Edge, go to Settings > System, and turn off the "Use hardware acceleration when available" option.

We've been experiencing some issues but to be honest it's not just Hornbill, it's anything we access via the Edge browser. It's been terrible for the last few months and randomly freezes multiple times a day and crashes frequently. I'm going to follow Steve's advice and see if that sorts it for me 🤞
