We're currently using Customer Custom Attributes for various info, however its unclear how to remove data stored here using the Workflow/Autotask.  I've tried emptying the field in the node (leaving it blank) however this has had no effect.  I need this to happen outside of an LDAP import.  How can I achieve this?

If its not possible, could it be considered as an enhancement?  Many thanks
